It wouldn’t be the Den without new additions of my favorite addiction…Funko Pop Vinyls!
My Cinema Shame for 2015, begins with Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner from 1982.
For the first month of the year I watched Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner from 1982. Now this is a unique film in that I had to watch it twice in order to formulate a proper opinion.
Blade Runner has a few versions available. It’s one of the first films that came into public consciousness in regards to multiple cuts. I have the 3-Disc BluRay which has 5 versions: Theatrical Cut, Director’s Cut, International Theatrical Cut, Workprint and Final Cut. The Final cut is the one that Ridley Scott had full control over.
I watched both the International Theatrical and Final Cuts for my observation. Upon watching for the first time I was amazed at the world Scott had built. As you can see I love collecting these Funko Pop! Figures. It really has become sort of an addiction. You can thank my wife for that. Here are the newest additions…
Added to the collection is Harley Quinn. This is version is from the Batman: Arkham Asylum game. But since I don’t have that game, I had to take a picture of her in front of one of her newer comics.
These actually are my father’s as I have gotten him into collecting them as well. He and I are huge Game of Thrones fans. So here we have Daenerys Targaryen and her dragon Drogon. Accompanying them are Jon Snow and his Direwolf Ghost. The stand in front of the new book from creator George R. R. Martin chronicling the history of Westeros.
Last we have Edward Kenway, captain of the Jackdaw, grandfather of Assassin’s Creed III character Connor and protagonist of Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag standing in front of the PS3 version of the game.
Joining her fellow assassin Edward is Avenline DeGrandpre of Assassin’s Creed III Liberation.
My 2015 List of CinemaShame. I resolve to complete the list this year.
2015 is here and I must admit I did not complete my penance for 2014 nor did I even watch a movie a month. For 2015 however I am making all attempts to rectify that. Behold my 2015 CinemaShame with some holdovers from last year.
1. Blade Runner
This year I’ll be 30 years old. I haven’t completed a whole lot of things but I am determined to finish this list. I wish myself luck!
